Why we read books?

We read those kind of books because teachers think they are necessary for us, that we learn, we imagine, we feel, we like, but what they don´t know is that we actually don´t. well maybe some students but very few. How can any book bring out emotions. I admit some of them do but not every single one. It´s like if any movie brings out all these feelings it changed your life forever oh my god and that kind of stuff. But no. school books usually don´t bring out feelings. Teachers always say a book is in the program for our school year but students never believe. This situation will exist forever and forever. The teacher wants his student to read something they don´t like. And they need to. So why are we even writing this or complaining, if in school we always do things we don´t want. But that´s life. You don´t always get to do things you want or like.

I only read informative books to know things and learn. I´m not saying I don´t read. Of course we read. Everybody does. Anywhere in the city there´ll always be something to read. But I don´t like reading fiction books. I think it´s a waste of time. I prefer to learn something. Why would I learn about these characters these settings that doesn’t exist. (For example Harry Potter) You even waste your memory remembering all of those names. When we read an unknown fiction book that´s even a more waste of time. With who would you talk about it. In Mexico is not common to talk about books. No one would understand. You can also be a very smart person and never read (Harry Potter, all those stupid fantasies). Instead we should read something more productive like politics, biology I don´t know. Something different. In school they´ll make students a lot of illusions like believing this book and feeling out of normality, but the truth is another one. That´s why I think in USA there´s a lot of weird guys that get into a character and kill people. Like the one who killed john Lennon, also the recent case of batman that started shooting in the movies. Too much fantasy is not good.
